Y la verdad es que yo me pasé mucho tiempo de mi vida haciendo corajes innecesarios debido a la mala calidad de los mp3, ya saben, muchas frecuencias se pierden, sobre todo los poderosos contrabajos de algunas de mis canciones favoritas de Jazz.
Por eso me di a la tarea de empaparme del tema. Y concluí que para mi oído, sería mejor entrar al maravilloso mundo de los viniles. Y desde que tengo mi tornamesa y mi pequeña -pero creciente- colección de viniles, encontré algunas diferencias y puntos a favor del vinil:
1. La calidad es superior al cd y mp3: las frecuencias perdidas en la masterización son mínimas.
2. El arte en las portadas es mucho más apreciable.
3. El tamaño permite poner más información y fotos.
4. Difícilmente se puede piratear un vinil.
5. -muy importante- No los puedes prestar (MUAJAJA). El 80% de mis cds desapareció misteriosamente en el clásico "no manches, ¡préstame este disco!". Así que hago hincapié en este punto, porque, a menos que alguien sea igual de adicto a la música, difícilmente encotraré a alguien que me diga "no manches, préstame este vinil".
6. Comprar un vinil (en físico o por internet) es la cosa más emocionante que hay. Si creen que comprar el nuevo disco de su artista favorito en cd es bonito. Cámbiense al vinil y se "orgasmearán" en cada compra.
7. Además de su principal función de deleitarnos auditivamente, son artículos de colección, de esas colecciones que hacen sentirse a uno reteorgulloso.
8. Decir "voy a escuchar mis viniles" para un melómano como yo, es como decir "voy a ir a dar una vuelta en mi Mustang convertible rojo y tomarme una botella de etiqueta dorada combinada con plateada y ligarme unas chiquitas" para una persona promedio (no melómana).
